Events give back to the community

Woodgate Community Events had the pleasure recently to provide local organisations who support our community with a donation of funds.

Committee members handed over a total of $5,000 to these deserving people who focus on helping others.

  • The Biggest Morning Tea – $2,500 towards their fundraising efforts for cancer research
  • Goodwood School – $1,000 towards the cost of their learn to swim program
  • Woodgate Community Bus – $500 to help keep those wheels turning
  • Woodgate RSL – $500 to help host Anzac Day, Vietnam Veterans Day and Remembrance Day services
  • Forest View Bus – $500 towards costs to help get residents out and about.
