Woodgate Community Events is sharing their fundraising efforts from this years’ Easter@Woodgate Fair. All of those raffle tickets, burgers and lamingtons raise funds that are distributed to local community organisations that support our residents and community.
President Lesley Christensen has been handing out the oversized cheques:
- Woodgate Beach First Responders were donated $2,000 towards funding of a future Ambulance Station in Woodgate.
- Woodgate & District Residents Association received $500 toward their history trail project.
- To help with the costs of running Woodgate’s Anzac Day, Vietnam Veterans and Remembrance Day services, another $500 was presented to the Woodgate Beach RSL Sub Branch.
