Youth Art Exhibit

Woodgate Arts in Spring Youth Art Exhibition is a celebration of young artists who live in the Wide Bay region. We are calling all creative young people aged between 8 and 18 years old to be part of the exhibition and show off your artistic flair!

The theme is “Spring” and can be interpreted however you like! It does not need to stick to one type of media. Release your creativity, inspiration, and vision by grabbing your brushes, pencils, paints, camera, or clay and enter your best A5 sized, original artwork!

There are great prizes on offer, plus the overall People’s Choice winner, which will be announced at the Woodgate Arts in Spring Artisan Markets on Monday 7 October.

Age group categories: 8 – 10 years, 11 – 12 years, 13 – 15 years, 16 – 18 years. A first and runner up prize will be awarded for each group, and a People’s choice award.

The Woodgate Arts in Spring Youth Exhibition will be on display from Saturday 5 – Monday 7 October at the Woodgate Community Hall. The awards presentation will be held on Monday 7 October at 12 pm at the Woodgate Community Hall Outdoor Stage, where the winners will be announced. All are invited and welcome to attend.

The exhibition focus on youth development provides essential pathways into the arts for young people, providing the opportunity to exhibit their artwork professionally, and all participants will receive a certificate of participation.
