Established in 2010, Woodgate Community Events Inc is a group of dedicated volunteers who manage and host events for the benefit of the Woodgate community.
Building on strong community links, Woodgate Community Events now runs one of the regions largest annual events, the Easter@Woodgate Fair, which attracts around 8,000-9,000 patrons.
Funded through community grants and the generosity of local businesses, our events aim to capatilise on holiday visitation and ehance the potential for local businesses to engage.
Woodgate Community Events also gives back by fundraising throughout the year at events and donating to local support services.
Over the past five years Woodgate Community Events has donated more than $11,000 to local community groups, emergency services and charities that support our town.

President Lesley Christensen handed over a $2,000 donation to President of the Woodgate Beach Ambulance Benefit Committee Inc., Wendy Gearside. Woodgate Community Evetnts donates back to the community through their fundraising efforts throughout the year.
